We have an outstanding track record of helping organisations address their most important business challenges with communications.
When communication matters, our clients use our experience and expertise to advise on issues affecting decisions, valuation, change and reputation.
Founded in 2002 in Munich and London, we have built an international network of 12 offices across eight countries. The merger with Capital MSL in January 2015 strengthened our London-hub and added offices in the Middle East. Our success is built upon the quality and creativity of the 140 strong team, a large number of whom have significant operational experience in industry, finance, politics and the media. We use this expertise and our long-standing networks to deliver results-driven consultancy to management teams and their advisers.
We pride ourselves on our enduring relationships with clients and those they communicate with: the key stakeholders in media, industry, finance and politics.
As a member of MSLGROUP, we have the ability to draw upon the expertise of some of the world’s leading strategic communications firms to support our clients wherever required.
We work with companies, institutions and individuals to advise on communications affecting decisions, valuation, change and reputation.
Our work covers the spectrum of corporate and financial communications, public affairs, crisis and issues support and change management, underpinned by a strong understanding of the rapidly evolving digital media environment.
We hold leading positions in M&A and IPO advisory but our client relationships are for the long-term, providing trusted advice across all stakeholder groups and markets.
Our creative solutions are built on real insights, derived from years of experience helping our clients construct and communicate a narrative that delivers tangible results and competitive advantage. Our experience speaks for itself.
We look at problems differently. We consistently challenge the status quo with new and creative thinking. Whether our clients are dealing with the challenges of the wider world – the economy, politics, traditional and social media – or in their own environment – strategy, restructuring, acquiring and divesting, hiring, resourcing and succession – the CNC team has a proven track record of delivery across all stakeholder groups. As many of us come from in-house roles; we know what works and what doesn’t.
It is the depth of client relationships and the breadth of our expertise and networks from industry, finance, politics and the media that sets CNC apart. There are few problems that our consultants have not seen before.
CNC is committed to responsible and ethical business practises and takes that approach into the communities within which we operate. As a result, as a business and as individuals, we support sound environmental stewardship, positive engagement with our local communities, and worthwhile cultural initiatives.
The SHINE Trust (Support and Help in Education) is an educational charity that seeks to change the lives of disadvantaged young people by providing them with extra English and Maths support, as well as creative learning opportunities after school, on Saturdays and during holidays.

CNC’s staff also take part in running the annual Windsor Half Marathon in support of SHINE.
CNC has supported London’s iconic Royal Court Theatre for a number of years. At CNC, our intention is always to look at problems differently, consistently challenging the status quo with new and creative thinking. This first principle is reflected in our support of the Royal Court Theatre which prides itself on being a hothouse for innovation and ideas.
NINETTE is an online initiative under the auspices of the Federal Minister of Health Hermann Groehe, which has been set up to address the prevention of eating disorders in Germany. NINETTE is the first platform of its kind. It provides information and education about the risks of eating disorders and offers the first online advisory service for the people affected.
In Germany, every third girl between the ages of 11 and 17 shows symptoms of eating disorders. With these figures continuing to rise it is important to fight against the voices who declare that thinness is perfection, particularly in the digital world.
CNC works with NINETTE on a pro-bono basis, supporting the initiative with their external communications, notably around the initiatives’ launch. CNC assists NINETTE to generate awareness amongst partnerships and patrons in the public and media sector.
