Thomas Empt is Managing Director based in Munich.
At CNC, Thomas is in particular responsible for litigation PR, crisis PR and compliance communications and has extensive experience as a corporate spokesperson.
Prior to joining CNC, he was Head of Communications for the real estate and beverage divisions within the Schörghuber Group, Munich. He started his career as Head of Corporate Communications at BetaResearch.

Knut has a broad network of top-level contacts in the international media scene, within companies and in the political sphere, which he uses to advise clients on capital markets transactions, financial and crisis communications, as well as in reputation and CEO positioning mandates.
Prior to joining CNC, Knut spent more than 20 years in high-profile roles in international finance and business journalism, including various leadership roles at global news agency Reuters as well as at Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal in both Germany and the United States.

Prior to joining CNC, he was a Member of the German Bundestag for 12 years and was Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology, and worked as aerospace coordinator for the Federal Government.
Siegmar is involved in multiple advisory boards and institutions.

Dr. Christoph Walther is a founding partner of CNC AG, based in Munich.
From 1995 to 2002 he was Senior Vice President and Head of Communications at Daimler-Benz/DaimlerChrysler. Between 1987 and 1995 he was responsible for public affairs and communications and served as General Legal Counsel for Reemtsma Cigarettenfabrik, the world’s fifth largest cigarette manufacturer.
Dr. Walther studied Law in Munich, Geneva and Hamburg. In 1988 he received his Doctorate in Law on a thesis on election campaign law.

Otto Fricke is a CNC Partner based in Berlin.
Before joining CNC in 2014, he was a member of the German Bundestag for 11 years.
Between 2005 and 2009 he was chairman of the budget committee and from 2009 until 2013 whip of the FDP parliamentary group as well as chairman of the German–Dutch parliamentarian group.
Otto studied Law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and was active in Duesseldorf / Krefeld / Kleve during his clerkship. He has been a lawyer in Krefeld since 1995.

Dr Hanns Glatz is CNC’s representative for EU Affairs in Brussels.
With his 40 years career as a “business diplomat”, Dr. Glatz has a profound knowledge of the political processes in the EU.
From 1989 until October 2009, Dr. Glatz was responsible for Daimler’s relations with the EU. Dr. Glatz worked at Ford Europe for nine years, and then established the federation of EU National Associations of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, which he headed for ten years as Secretary General.
Dr. Glatz studied Law and Economics at the University of Vienna and the College of Europe in Bruges.

Roland Klein is a founding partner of CNC based in London and focusses in cross-border transactions, financial communication and corporate communications.
Prior to founding CNC, he was a member of the executive board of LM Ericsson AB in London and Stockholm, where he was responsible for corporate communications and IR. He has held various positions in the communications department of Daimler-Benz/DaimlerChrysler for seven years and worked as a financial journalist for, among others, FAZ, Börsen-Zeitung and manager magazin in Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, New York and London.

Dr. Jochen Legewie heads the CNC office in Japan since 2004 and also serves as CNC Chairman Asia.
He advises multinational firms on complex positioning mandates and is one of Japan’s top M&A-PR advisors according to mergermarket..
He is one of the few foreign trustees of Keizai Doyukai (Japanese Association of Corporate Executives) and Vice-Chair of its Europe/Russia Committee. Fluent in German, English and Japanese, he has been widely published in German, English and Japanese publications and regularly appears as a business commentator on Japanese TV.
Prior to joining CNC he was Head of Communications at Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, and Vice Director of the German Institute for Japanese Studies in Tokyo.

Bernhard Meising is CEO and a CNC Partner based in Munich.
Prior to joining CNC, Bernhard Meising was Managing Director at Citigate Dewe Rogerson, Germany. Furthermore, he was responsible for the communications around the Deutsche Telekom IPO in 1996. Harald spent 15 years in the investment banking industry in London and New York, starting as an economist at Lehman Brothers and moving through a range of roles in the equities business. Richard founded and led the international strategic communications consultancy, Capital MSL, ahead of its merger with CNC in January 2015. He is an experienced adviser, implementing communications campaigns and crisis management plans for a range of well-known international organisations.

Since 1987 he has run his own consulting company “KETIC Inc.”, specialised in supporting foreign companies in accessing the Korean market. He also provides foreign business promotion services for Korean manufacturers and traders, and consults government agencies on improvements of the investment climate.
From 1983 to 1987 he was Deputy Secretary General of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Tom Buchanan has more than twenty years’ experience as a communications advisor to companies in the UK, Continental Europe, Asia and the United States. The majority of Tom’s career was spent as a partner of Brunswick including four years in New York, where he established its first US office.

Dominic Laurie is Senior Consultant at CNC based in London.
Dominic has 13 years’ experience as a presenter, reporter and producer at the BBC based in London, Salford, Oxford and Brussels.
He was a business reporter on BBC Breakfast and BBC Radio 5 Live, Europe Business reporter at the height of the financial crisis during 2008, and an anchor on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Prior to joining the BBC, Dominic was UK Marketing Manager at Go Fly, one of the most successful ever airline launches in the UK. He was also a Graduate Trainee at United Biscuits, specialising in Marketing.
Dominic specialises in media training, digital content creation and reputation and issues management.
Dominic has a BA in French and Italian from the University of Cambridge.

Claire Lewis is a senior consultant at CNC based in the London office.
Claire has nearly 10 years experience advising on and implementing corporate communications programmes for fund managers, asset owners, banks, industry bodies and advisers across Europe.
Prior to joining CNC, Claire spent five years at Capital MSL and three years in-house as an Account Manager at fund management firm M&G Investments. At M&G, Claire worked with the head of communications on product-related media relations and corporate reputation management.
Claire has a first class honours degree in Public Relations from Bournemouth University.

Claire Ferris-Lay is Senior Consultant based in the Middle East.
Claire has ten years’ media experience in the Middle East, working in both public relations and as a journalist in Dubai. Claire specialises in corporate communications and content development, and has worked for a wide range of local, multinational and family-owned businesses including PepsiCo, Crescent Enterprises, and Dubai Parks and Resorts.
Prior to joining CNC, Claire worked for ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller in Dubai, overseeing key client relationships. She also spent six years at Arabian Business magazine and its sister website, arabiabusiness.com, where she contributed news stories and features across a wide variety of business sectors.

Elvira Eilert Pignal heads CNC’s office in Mumbai.
She is an expert in strategic communications and corporate affairs with more than ten years of advising clients internationally in managing complex reputation issues. She has worked particularly closely with clients from the financial services, technology and telecoms sectors to plan, devise and implement multi-national communications and engagement strategies targeting policymakers and the media.
Elvira began her career in reputation research and polling, before joining Brunswick Group, where she worked in the Brussels office and most recently as a Director in London.
She has a MA in International Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. A Swede by nationality, Elvira is also fluent in English, Danish and French, as well as conversational Japanese.

Antonia Munte is a financial, corporate and crisis communications expert. She has been with CNC since 2010, initially based in Berlin and Frankfurt and since 2015 in Munich.
Antonia has advised on numerous cross-border M&A transactions and special situations including crisis situations and insolvencies. Furthermore, she has extensive experience consulting clients from the non-profit sector.
Antonia holds a Master of Science in Global Politics (focus conflict studies) from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a B.A. (Hons) in International Relations and Media Relations from Webster University Vienna and Geneva.

Sabine Riemenschneider´s focus topics are Change Management and Organisational Development (OD). She is looking back on 18 years of professional experience in various HR and inhouse-consulting roles of DAX listed companies thus, gaining experience in the pharma, energy and semi-conductor market.
The previous four years Sabine worked as team lead „Change, Organisation und Culture“ for Infineon Technologies AG. Yasemin Sancak is based in Munich and globally responsible for talent strategy and talent management at CNC.

Judith is a senior consultant based in the CNC Munich office. She works primarily on financial communications and media relations as well as special situations and multi stakeholder communications. She has broad experience in the chemical and energy sector and specializes in corporate governance and sustainability topics.
Prior to joining CNC, Judith was a research assistant at Technische Universität München. Her dissertation focused on social enterprises. She was also a member of an expert group on social business of the European Union. Judith served as Personal Assistant to Prof. Dr. Dr. Ann-Kristin Achleitner and was Sherpa within the Government Commission on the German Corporate Governance Code.
She obtained her Masters of Science (with honors) in Finance and Information Management. Judith is a native German speaker and fluent in English and Spanish.

Klas is also a practice leader for crisis and has conducted crisis training sessions with executive management groups and crisis teams for many international groups based in the Nordic region, Europe and Asia.

Anders Lindberg is a pioneer in strategic communication and lobbying. Prof. Sigmund Gottlieb is Associate Partner at CNC and based in Munich. He has spent more than 21 years as editor-in-chief of the Bavarian Television.
From 1988 to 1991 Sigmund worked as vice-chief and presenter of the ZDF Heute-Journal news programme and has built a strong network across business, politics and media.
Sigmund is an honorary professor at the Ostbayerischen Technische Hochschule, a member of the University Council of the University of Passau, and a member of the board of trustees of the Ifo Institute for Economic Research. He regularly lectures on the topic of the quality of the media.

Christoph Gottschalk is a CNC partner and head of the Berlin office.
He advises clients in the areas of public affairs, corporate communications, change management, leadership-advisory and CEO positioning.
Gottschalk has a vast and varied amount of international consultancy experience on the interface of politics, business and media. He was the German Adviser to the French Prime Minister before joining international executive search consultancy Russell Reynolds Associates in 2007, whose Hamburg office he led from 2012 onwards.
He is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Übersee-Club in Hamburg, as well as being on the Advisory Boards of both the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra and the Bucerius Law School. In addition to this, he also held the office of President of the European Youth Parliament.
Christoph Gottschalk attended the Leibniz College Tübingen, studied Political Science at the Free University Berlin and completed his Msc in European Public Policy at the University of London. Furthermore, he is a certified systemic business Coach.
