Eva Hamilton – who successfully ran SVT (the Swedish national public TV broadcaster) for eight years, vitalising and energising the channels – will join JKL as a senior advisor. She has extensive public broadcasting experience, having served as chairman of Radiotjänst (Sweden’s TV licensing body, 2006-2015), CEO of SVT (2006-14), head of SVT Fiction (2004-06) and head of SVT News and Sport (2000-04).

Ms Hamilton also has many years’ experience as a journalist for leading Swedish newspaper and TV media. She currently serves on the boards of several major private companies and public institutions, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Mittuniversitetet (Mid Sweden University) in 2015.
In 2009 she was named Sweden’s “Leader of the Year” (Affärsvärlden, Catella, Korn/Ferry International) and “Personality of the Year” (Stockholm Media Award).

  • “Eva Hamilton is an iconic name in Swedish media and public opinion, combining a sharp journalistic mind with strong leadership and a successful change agenda at SVT over many years. Together with former Prime Minister Göran Persson, Eva Hamilton gives a special uniqueness to JKL’s offer,” says Anders Lindberg, JKL founder and partner.
  • “JKL is renowned, highly professional and has exciting clients. It will be very stimulating to be part of JKL and be involved with these clients,” says Ms Hamilton.
  • “Earlier this year JKL decided to combine its operations with sister organisation CNC, with operations in Germany, Great Britain, the Persian Gulf, Japan and India. We already have many international assignments and are expecting more. With Eva Hamilton, JKL has an even stronger offer for foreign clients considering, for example, investments in Sweden,” says Maria Grimberg, partner and head of JKL’s Stockholm office.
